Build a Pergola

In this article you will learn how to build a Pergolas. A proper set up is required if you are to succeed with your project.

Part one. How to build a wooden pergolas. Good planning is vital when it comes to undertaking any task.

First of all you need to purchase wooden pergasos, at least the ones that you will be making. They are quite cheap and can be purchased at any garden centre or hardware store. You need to make sure though that they are 100% wood. If not the wood might rot while in storage.

Second, you need to install a tin roof over the top. Tin roofing is strong and easy to use but it does require special skills to install. If you can’t do this on your own, I would strongly recommend you hire a professional roofer.

Thirdly, place the tin roof over the wooden pergasos. It is important that the tin roof doesn’t touch any other parts of the pergolas. The tin roof will prevent it from rotting, and the tin roof should also stop any moisture escaping through the tin roof.

Once the tin roof is in place, you need to install the tin roof over the top of the wooden pergasos. Then you need to cover the entire pergalopola area with tin roofing material and you will have a nice sturdy pergalopola.

Fourthly, you can now build the sides of the pergalopola and the roof separately. The sides should be long enough to allow for you to trim the pergola if you need to.

You can also trim wood around the sides of the pergola. You can cut timber that you get from your local DIY store.

Fifthly you can now install the tin roofs over the wooden pergolas. Again you need to install them properly. The tin roof should fit perfectly over the pergola. You don’t want any gaps between the roof and the wooden pergola.

Sixthly, lastly, you can start using your tin roofs to install any roofing materials around the perimeter of the pergola. This includes tiles on the roof and any accessories such as window covers.

Finally, after you have finished building your pergola, you can now install the tin roof over the top of the wooden pergola. This will give you a beautiful and unique look that no other pergola can match.

When it comes time to look at roofing your pergola, there are a few things you need to take into consideration before installing the roof. Use Magnets For example, the roofing materials that you choose should compliment the style and size of your pergola.

Also, any roof should be durable enough to withstand strong winds, rain and snow. Remember that your pergola is a focal point and it should not be something that gets damaged easily. The roof is one of the first things people notice about your pergola so make add several neodymium magnets that it is well protected.
